Real name William Raymond. wraymond@hot.rr.com I finally got around to making my connection with my past this year. Got in touch with Ed Boruff and Joe Allen. They got me interested in the Boston reunion. Boy what a great time we had. After leaving the Navy in 71', I went back to Texas and the same job I had before the Navy at a newspaper. I then put some of my Navy training to use when I joined the fire department. I made it to Station Lieutenant and stayed in that position for the rest of my career. I retired from the fire service in 2004. Several years before that I started to volunteer on my days off at the elementary school that my wife worked at in the computer lab. I now work full time at that job, taking care of about 180 Mac computers and their users. While checking out other links today, I found out that the ship I went to after the O’Callahan (USS O'Brien DD-725) is having their reunion in September in San Diego. Thanks for the memories!
