I served aboard the USS O'Callahan (DE-1051) from April 1968 (prior to commissioning) until November 1971. I was a Gunner's Mate 3rd when I left OCallahan. I spent two more years in the Navy Reserve where I made Gunner's Mate 1st. I enlisted in the Texas Army National Guard and retired in April 1991 as a Sergeant First Class. Currently work for BP at the Texas City Refinery. I live with my wife, Diana. We have a son, Ryan, who lives in Houston.
